Original Founding Fathers

• • • •
"The glory of America is not dominion, but liberty. Her march is in the march of the mind. She is a spear and a shield; but her shield is FREEDOM."
President John Adams
The idea to create a Founding Fathers website began in 2012, when we observed the moral principles that created this wonderful nation of ours being eroded with thoughts and ideas that were contrary with what our Founding Fathers had established. Several of our liberties were being put aside for one reason or another, and political correctness began to supersede those liberties.
Who are the Original Founding Fathers? It is somewhat arbitrary, but most people would include the Big Eight: George Washington, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, James Madison, Benjamin Franklin, Alexander Hamilton, Patrick Henry, and Thomas Paine. On our tee-shirts, we decided to add two more, Paul Revere and John Jay.

As interest in the website began to grow, we decided to add more information on the history of our country. We have added short biographies of the Founding Fathers. We have included the documents that shaped our nation. Several patriotic songs with lyrics are now included. We’ve also included some famous paintings. Our main site’s blog features up-to-date and relevant topics, including the patriotic holidays and their respective traditions.
We desire for this not to be our site, but your site, and we welcome feedback, comments, and ideas to make it grow. Please submit.

The site serves to inform some, and remind others, of what our Founding Fathers went through to establish what no other country on earth could do at that time; that is to create a nation not ruled by monarchs and dictators, but one that truly is governed by the people, and for the people. We hope you enjoy browsing around the site and we look forward to hearing from you.

There is nothing partisan about how our Founding Fathers fought and died against the then world’s mightiest military force for their freedom and independence from tyranny.

We want to rekindle the same passions and principles that inspired our Founding Fathers to greatness and allowed them to found the most sought-after country on earth, with the oldest constitutional republic despite being the youngest developed country.

Each generation must seek to understand the legacy of our Founding Fathers and pass it on down. In the beginning it was the Founding Fathers who put the words on paper and provided leadership, but it was the people of the United States of America who put those words into action and made them work. Now it is our turn to pick up that torch of freedom and keep it glowing.
